At last! The revolutionary [Aion i60] from [GAC Aion] is now officially available for pre-order.
The new vehicle is positioned as a five-seat compact SUV. The range-extended variant boasts a pure electric range of 210 kilometres under CLTC testing, while the pure electric version achieves up to 650 kilometres . Additionally, the model incorporates GAC’s GSD driver assistance system, supporting features such as highway NDA (No Driver Assistance) and intelligent parking assistance.
Design, born to disrupt
The new vehicle’s extended-range and pure-electric variants share largely identical exterior styling, featuring a closed-off front fascia with a trapezoidal grille. The headlight clusters are connected by LED light strips, while the front bumper incorporates vertical air ducts on either side. Additionally, the model offers six single-tone paint finishes—Warm Velvet Gold, Galaxy Blue, Arctic White, Sea Glow Grey, Holographic Silver, and Midnight Shadow Black—alongside two two-tone colour schemes.

Stepping inside, the AION i60 features a wraparound cockpit design with a dual-spoke steering wheel and column-mounted gear selector, complemented by a floating central touchscreen. The central console adopts a dual-tiered layout, offering enhanced storage capacity. The vehicle offers three interior colour schemes: Oat Milk White, Warm Velvet Beige, and Tahiti Grey. Furthermore, it incorporates the GAC GSD driving assistance system, supporting features such as highway NDA (No Driver Assistance) and intelligent parking assistance.

Powertrain specifications: The AION i60 Extended Range variant features a 1.5-litre range-extender system with a generator output of 74 kilowatts and a drive motor delivering 180 kilowatts. Paired with a 29.165-kilowatt-hour battery pack, it achieves a CLTC pure electric range of 210 kilometres and a combined CLTC range of 1,240 kilometres. The pure-electric variant offers three battery capacities: 47.829 kWh, 62.268 kWh, and 75.26 kWh, corresponding to ranges of 400 kilometres, 530 kilometres, and 650 kilometres respectively.
