The Avatr 12 extended-range version has officially started pre-sale.
The Avatr 12 extended-range version has officially started pre-sale. It features a 1.5T extended-range system, offering a pure electric range of 201 kilometers.
Alongside this, the new pure electric version and Royal Theater version (starting at 450,000 yuan) are also available for pre-sale, launching on November 2. The specific price for the extended-range version has not yet been announced, but a 2,000 yuan intention deposit can be deducted from the 5,000 yuan deposit.

The extended-range model uses the same Kunlun 1.5T system as the Avatr 07, with a maximum power output of 231 kW. It includes a lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 39.05 kWh, achieving a fuel consumption of 5.8 liters per 100 kilometers.
Visually, the extended-range and pure electric versions are similar. Both have a sporty coupe design with a fastback rear. However, the extended-range version features an air intake on the front due to the 1.5T engine.

Dimensions remain the same: 5020 mm in length, 1999 mm in width, and 1460 (or 1450) mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3020 mm. The extended-range version offers four wheel styles and two tire specifications: 265/45 R20 and 265/40 R21.
Inside, the front row boasts dual zero-gravity seats. High-end models include rear seat ventilation, heating, and massage functions. All models come standard with British Treasure audio. The cockpit features a flat multifunction steering wheel, a hand-shift gear mechanism, and a 35.4-inch “fish screen” for the LCD instrument and co-pilot screen. A 15.6-inch central control screen is mounted above the armrest box, complemented by physical buttons below it. Additionally, there’s a streaming media rearview mirror and dual air-cooled wireless charging in the armrest area.

the extended-range version is equipped with multiple sensors, including three laser radars, millimeter-wave radars, ultrasonic radars, and cameras. It runs on HarmonyOS and Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 3.0, allowing for advanced driving assistance without needing high-precision maps.

Overall, the Avatr 12 extended-range version caters to those who face charging challenges and require long-distance travel. Its lower reliance on large batteries compared to the pure electric version may help reduce costs. Given that the pure electric version starts at 265,800 yuan, will the pricing of the extended-range version surprise you?
