Changan Deepal has revealed its flagship SUV, the Deepal S09. It’s a large 6-seat SUV, over 5.2 meters long. The price starts at 350,000 yuan, with a 2025 launch planned. It will compete with the Li Auto L9 and Wenjie M9.

The S09 features a sleek front with a through-type LED daytime running light and split headlights. It also has a roof-mounted laser radar, signaling advanced driving assistance tech.

The side design is powerful, with smooth lines and wide wheel arches. The B/C pillars are smoked, and the roofline is straight, giving it a floating roof effect.

At the rear, a large spoiler and through-type LED taillights match the front design, ensuring a cohesive look. Dimensions: 5205mm length, 1996mm width, 1800mm height, and a 3105mm wheelbase.

The S09 is powered by the Blue Whale HE1.5T hybrid engine with Deepal’s Super Range Extender 2.0 technology, delivering 110kW. The dual-motor all-wheel drive system offers 362kW (492 hp), with a pure electric range of 170-180km.
