New Vehicle | Starting from $46,883 USD / Six-seat Extended-Range SUV / Up to 402 km Pure Electric Range IM LS9 Launches
Anticipation, finally realised: The all-new [IM LS9] invites you to embark on a new journey together.
IM Motors has officially announced the launch of the IM LS9, offering two variants: the 52Ultra and 66Ultra. Positioned as a six-seat large SUV, the new model features “Stellar” super-range technology and the Lingxi Digital Chassis 3.0, delivering a maximum CLTC pure electric range of 402 kilometres.
A timeless design that transcends the ages
In terms of exterior design, the IM LS9 adopts a distinctly boxy silhouette. Its headlight clusters depart entirely from the styling seen on current IM models, featuring the Falcon Intelligent Lighting System. An integrated spotlight is mounted above the windscreen. The front fascia employs a closed-off design, with an air intake added to the centre of the front bumper.
Driver Assistance System
The IM LS9 comes standard across all variants with a 520-line ultra-wide-view LiDAR and NVIDIA Thor chip, featuring the Momenta-powered IM AD Max advanced driver assistance system. This delivers core functionalities including ACC full-speed adaptive cruise control, ILC automatic evasion, AEB high-speed full-scenario automatic emergency braking, AES lateral emergency evasion, and one-touch AI valet parking (parking/edge-following/traffic jam/tracking/crossing). Additionally, users may opt for the full-featured driver assistance package to upgrade capabilities including City Pilot Assist, Highway & Elevated Road Pilot Assist, Valet Parking Assist, and Space-to-Space Pilot Assist.
Redefining automotive performance for the new era
Power-wise, the IM LS9 employs “Stellar” super-range-extender technology, featuring a 1.5T range extender (model 15FNE) paired with dual front and rear electric motors. The 52Ultra and 66Ultra variants deliver combined maximum system outputs of 380kW and 390kW respectively, both producing peak torque of 670N·m and achieving 0-100km/h acceleration in 4.9 seconds. Furthermore, the IM LS9 will subsequently introduce a three-motor all-wheel-drive variant.
An interior encounter of texture and style
In terms of interior design, the overall layout of the IM LS9‘s centre console remains largely consistent with the new IM LS6 model. It offers a choice between dark and light Earth Elephant Grey interior finishes, with woodgrain trim adorning the door panels. The vehicle features a 27.1-inch cockpit display (combining digital instrument cluster and central infotainment screen) , a 15.6-inch passenger entertainment screen, and a 21.5-inch second-row entertainment screen. Powered by the IM AIOS intelligent cockpit system and a Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8295P chip, it supports multi-zone natural voice interaction, Apple CarPlay/Huawei HiCar/Carlink smartphone connectivity, and is equipped with a Head-Up Display (HUD), 360-degree surround view camera, and AI off-road blind-spot monitoring.
