Recently, Jetta Auto released a preview image of the new A+ class compact sedan – Jetta VA7. This new car is the second sedan under the FAW-Volkswagen Jetta brand, and it can be regarded as two sister models with the Sagitar. It is reported that the new car is expected to start pre-sale on November 10.

From the preview image, Jetta VA7 and Volkswagen Sagitar basically use the same taillight group, trunk, and tailgate, but it has been replaced with a rear surround, and also adopts a sharp style. The English logo “JETTA” is used in the center of the tailgate, and the “VA7” logo in the lower right corner of the tailgate indicates the model identity information.

The overall face contour of this new car continues the front face of the Volkswagen Sagitar, and the design language of Jetta is adopted in the details, including the dot matrix borderless air intake grille and the Jetta car logo. In addition, the style of the three-stage air intake is different. The Volkswagen Sagitar looks more rounded, while the Jetta is sharper.

The side of the Jetta VA7 is very similar to the Volkswagen Sagitar, with only some minor differences, such as the window trim, the front fender logo and the wheels. For reference, the length, width and height of the Volkswagen Sagitar are 4791/1801/1465mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2731mm. It is expected that the body size of the Jetta VA7 will be roughly the same.

In terms of power, the official has not yet announced the interior and power information of the Jetta VA7. For reference, the current Volkswagen Sagitar is equipped with 1.2T and 1.5T engines, and the transmission is matched with a 5-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
