A few days ago, the new generation of Haval H9 was officially launched. The new car has a total of 3 models, priced at 199,900-229,900 yuan. Compared with the previous generation of models, the new generation of Haval H9 is built on the tank platform and is larger in size, especially its new exterior and interior are more hardcore and wild, and it provides a 7-seat layout, continues the non-load-bearing body and 2.0T power, and supports tank U-turns.
This new car is equipped with TOD timely four-wheel drive + Mlock mechanical lock as standard, and provides front/rear axle differential locks, equipped with the second-generation all-terrain control system, and supports low-speed off-road cruising, transparent chassis and other functions. Its approach angle is increased to 31° (previous generation 28°), and the departure angle is increased to 25° (previous generation 23°), which will improve the passing performance to a certain extent, and can calmly face unpaved roads; it also has 2.5-ton traction qualifications, and provides trailer devices and trailer power ports as optional.
From the appearance, the front face of the new generation Haval H9 incorporates some of the design of the Haval Raptor, but this new car has some differences in the details such as the grille, license plate frame, and rear surround. For example, the Haval Raptor has three grilles, while the new generation Haval H9 has four grilles.
In terms of body size, the length, width, and height of the new generation Haval H9 are 5070/1960, 1976/1930mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2850mm; it is also equipped with a retractable foot pedal and a side-opening tailgate, and provides four colors: Yanbo White, Wadang Black, Stone Blue Gray, and Qingshan Green, as well as a variety of 17-19 inch wheels. The whole vehicle reserves 10 modification spaces, including the front winch position, the wading hose installation position, and the auxiliary fuel tank installation space.
In terms of interior, the layout design of the new generation Haval H9 has been redesigned, equipped with a hollow sub-dashboard, a 14.6-inch central control screen, an LCD instrument, a multi-function steering wheel, an electronic shift lever, and physical buttons and control knobs are arranged below the central control screen and in the gear lever area to facilitate off-road operation; an off-road handle is provided in front of the co-pilot. It also provides an L2 driving assistance system, including ACC adaptive cruise control, intelligent cruise assistance, lane keeping and other functions.
From the perspective of seat layout, the new generation Haval H9 provides two interior layouts of 5 seats and 7 seats. The seats of the whole vehicle are covered with skin-friendly technological leather material, and 10mm comfort sponge is added. Among them, the seat cushions and backrests of the front seats have extended wings to improve wrapping and comfort; the rear seats look thicker, and the length of the seat cushions has been lengthened. It is worth mentioning that the trunk size of the 5-seat version is 791 liters, and the volume is 1814 liters when the second row of seats is flat.
In terms of power, the new generation Haval H9 will continue to use a 2.0T gasoline engine with a maximum power of 224 horsepower and a peak torque of 385 Nm, matched with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
In addition to the 2.0T gasoline engine, the second-generation Haval H9 will also launch a model equipped with a 2.4T diesel engine in the future, with a maximum power of 184 horsepower and a peak torque of 480 Nm.
